I never watched it, never gonna. I´m lost for words over the "new" Hollywood. It´s just painful. Like a traffic accident: You´re disgusted but still look at it. I´m too old for this shit.

I live in Pakistan. Games are really expensive here. They are a luxury here. Because, steam and epic games sell the game in dollars. If I want to buy a 60$ or 70$ game, I've to save for at least 2-3 months for a SINGLE game. Our gaming community was only able to flourish throught piracy. Recently, sony release Ghost of Tsushima on PC and I can't even buy that game lol. Sony is actually forcing all those countries to pirate the game.

Thanks to this video, I realized Rocket League manipulated me with their battle pass. For $20 you got the pass. If you didn't spend any of the in game currency that you earned from the pass, you could keep buying the pass with the money you made from the pass. It gave you just enough at one of the highest tiers. I thought that was awesome. You're pointing out that I needed to grind on some seasons when I really didn't have time to do it just so I could get content I paid for, so I could keep getting the next season pass without paying money. Ugh, I like how they went about it, but shit I was so manipulated into thinking that by them!

I wish subtitles was on as default, for me it's an anyance, but for someone who's actually hearing impaired, losin the dialog of the entire first cutscene is bad just because some people don't want it there. I use subtitles myself, despite being a dyslectic with "normal" hearing, sometimes other sounds just steal all the bandwidth. And any game that doesn't let me adjust music, sfx and speech individually better not expect me to hear what they're saying. I need my dialog at over 250% volume compared to other sounds.

It makes perfect sense that they didnt use joysticks for a long time, despite a controller designer already having a prototype. The games didn't need a joystick, form follows function. Also, Nintendo are Japanese, they read from right to left, so that also makes sense.

To be fair, the matrix was supposed to be repeating infinitely. So repeating the first movie actually fits unlike most times this happens.

Piracy IS a victimless crime and it is not possible to calculate losses as a result of piracy, as piracy does not take money out of the pockets of the people who created the piece of media being pirated. What CAN be calculated and counted is the amount of legitimate purchases from pirates, that is to say, financial gains from people who enjoyed a game that they pirated enough to buy it through legitimate avenues. Tell your ISP to suck an egg and pirate as much media as possible.

What's funny about copyrights is that if I make a copy unless someone breaks into my house to check which is also illegal, nobody would ever know, so it's near impossible to actually police something like copyright infringement. No one will stop you from rescuing Emily, NOTHING! KILL KILL KILL! READ NOTHING! SEND RATS TO DO YOUR BIDDING, EATING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE ABBEY! Blow crap up! Pay no attention to dialogue and revel in the unlimited power the void has bestowed upon you. Its awesome 🤘 Make sure you get the dlc with Dishonored 1, and play through the Brigmore Witches after beating the original campaign :) its essentially the other 1/2 of the game from the antagonist POV. So. Good. It's one of those games that needs to be played in order, you run into some old friends along the way 😉

16:49 when I was a kid, between 2007 and 2014, in the country and place where I lived, the internet was more like a new thing, only a few kids in my village had a computer and even fewer knew how to pirate games and mod them and etc, and the only way for many of my friends to get a game was to pirate it, there were no physical stores to buy it from nearby and even if you buy it online it was soo expensive, I live in Romania and the government around that time was giving monthly (like to each kid like 84 ron (16.88) so you had to keep and gather money TWO MONTHS to buy a 20 euro game (and now a 15-20 euro game is kinda cheap usually) and actually until 2015 it was not even 84 ron was actually 42 (now I just researched it more properly) wich is 8.44, and so around that time was extremely popular for teenagers to pirate the games, make a huge DVD collection and give them to their friends to also download them, this is how I got to -play GTA San Andreas GTA Vice City GTA 3 Mafia Crazy Taxi Euro Truck Simulator Just cause 2 FIFA NFS Underground 2 and plenty of other computer games. Now I own GTA Trilogy DEF (although I could have pirated it) NFS Payback Battlefield 1-5-2024, GTA 4 and 5 (the two DLCs for 4 despite never playing them) NFS Heat, The Crew Forza, Euro Trucks Simulator 2 + all map DLC's, Just Cause 2/3/4 and other 150 games I have on steam because most of them I plaid before pirated, enjoyed playing them and later bought them when I could afford. The best example was when I pirated Empire Total War, it was laggy and awful pirated, but I fell in love with the idea and 15 minutes later I even bought it (I had better performance with the purchased version) If a game is extremely pirated is because it is mostly inaccessible to the peoples who really wants to play it due to a high price, or it does not deserve its full price.

It’s funny you each make comparisons to Persona because Sanzigen, the animation group behind this anime would later go onto work with Persona 2’s writer Tadashi Satomi to some degree on his very clearly inspired new Persona-like IP in 2021, from the highschool setting to the otherworld dimension (tv world, metaverse, in this case, the Traumerei.) the ensemble cast even getting costumes upon entering the otherworld (or when the otherworld comes into the real world.) not to mention the “monsters” the mystery and the JRPG godly (lovecraftian.) threat. It had an online mobile RPG game which didn’t leave Japan, not much is known about it besides the aforementioned Persona 2 writer being the writer behind it (not sure how much he helped with the anime). Sanzigen worked on the companion anime for it, there’s an episode in the anime which straight up features Persona 2’s “importance of rumours” theme. It’s neat. Honestly give the anime the first two episode watch, criminally underrated, episode 2 made me go from liking the show to loving it and it just gets better from there imo. Unfortunately the IP’s future is unknown since the company behind it had a shift in management and later deemed the game to be too difficult to manage, being shut down after 1 year and 1 month. Leaving lots of character writing, storytelling and lore lost with no archives and an anime with a mostly, honestly pretty great 13 episode run though sadly has an open ended finale which leaves much room for a greater satisfactory closure. Hope that was interesting to someone lol.

The attempt to explain moe was pretty funny to me, mainly because I didn't feel anything towards the example. I've really only found that I like a character in anime if I can relate to them in some way as opposed to thinking they're "attractive" or "need to be protected at all costs." This and the fanservice video may have been watched out of boredom at first, but they definitely helped me at least try to understand why waifus and fanservice are a thing in anime.

You missed the best part of stealth ghost playthroughs. Taking the puzzling aspect to the top and not being noticed at all. Cuz you have the tools to get around them. Which defines the best stealth games. Cuz the stealth in ac is meh at best. And nowadays we still have the styx franchise. Its hardcore stealth at its finest.

32:07 That’s backwards to how it happened on the Saturn. The Saturn was designed and released with the smaller controller in mind. The redesign was the fat one that was created for people the NA and Europe markets. It only feels like the small one was the redesign because the fat western market one was horrible, so they reverted back to the original pad that was used in Japan since launch.

i think copyright should come with a requirment not to destroy the media and or prevent archiving of it. granting the limited time monopoly i think should be seen as a service rendered and the cost to be paid is that the product is put into the public domain after expiration. So i think companies that do not ensure published work are preserved or prevent preservation should be sued for preach of contract and theft of public property. (since they would be destroying property the belong to future generations)
